LosslessCut processes selected videos locally on your Mac. This policy explains the limited information involved in using the app and website.

1. Scope

This policy covers the LosslessCut website and macOS app. It explains how files and information are handled when you browse the site, trim videos, or contact support.

2. Local video files

The app opens videos you select and processes them locally on your Mac. Video files are not uploaded to us as part of trimming or export.

The app reads file information, playback position, and trim points to preview and export a segment. You choose where to save the output.

3. Website and support

The website uses the selected language in browser local storage so your choice persists. Basic hosting may process technical request data needed to deliver the pages.

If you email us, we receive the address and information you provide and use it to respond to your request.

4. Sharing and third parties

LosslessCut does not sell your personal information. The app includes FFmpeg and ffprobe for local media processing and is distributed through Apple platforms.

The website loads fonts from Google Fonts and the official App Store badge from Apple; those providers may receive standard web request information when your browser loads them.

5. Retention and your choices

Your source and exported videos remain in the locations you control until you remove them. A canceled or failed export cleans up its temporary output file.

You can delete exported files in Finder, clear the website language preference in your browser, and ask us about information you provided through support email.

6. Updates and contact

We may update this policy when the product or applicable requirements change. The current version will be posted here.
